The alpha channel is an additional channel that stores the transparency of the individual pixels (image points) in raster graphics: “empty”, “nothing”. Something must exist to indicate that something is not there. This blank alpha channel image matches my topic very well and I therefore wanted to stick it on the window.
The original idea was to break the window and let a real tree into the showroom. However, I thought it would be more interesting to use an alpha image.
It makes the audience imagine that this window doesn't exist.
So I ordered alpha image stickers to attach them to the window panes.
After my order I got this email that my image file is empty and I received blank stickers.
This curious situation with the email is pretty funny and shows my topic well: What do we see? What does it mean to see?
So I installed the empty stickers and the email together with the correct stickers.
